Turramurra Public School Choral Program
Every child from Kindergarten to Grade 6 is in a choir and has a 40 minute
rehearsal each week with a specialist music teacher.
These choirs are not auditioned and perform many times during the year at events at school such as Grandparent’s Day, Education Day, Anzac Day, Awards Day and Presentation Day.
In the Primary school, choirs are submitted to perform in large concerts outside the school, usually at magnificent venues in Sydney.

In addition to this specialist choirs are formed either as an ongoing ensemble or specifically for an occasion.

CDs An elite
auditioned group who perform as soloists in specialist concerts as well as
school and community concerts They have recorded 4 CDs and 2008 is planned for
this year. |

TURRAMEN is a boys group who choose, write and perform their own music. The group forms and disbands on demand. |

TUMBLES (Combined Turramurra and Pymble choir) Forms and auditions to perform as individual items at special concerts. Last year performed at Sydney Opera House and Town Hall. Promotes local interschool relationships. |
